Sales in Migros home improvement stores fall by a nominal 1.2 per cent


Sales in the speciality store division of the Swiss Migros Group last year came to CHF 1.602 bn, a decline of 1.2 per cent compared with 2015. The division includes the Do it + Garden DIY chain and the Obi franchise stores operated by Migros in Switzerland. Taking deflation of 3.6 per cent into account, sales by the stores increased by 2.4 per cent in real terms.
